I think the main attribute of a great father is Charity. Charity encompasses sacrifice, love, patients, and long suffering; all of which are needed by every effective parent. Charity requires fathers to put the needs and happiness of their family above their own. Pure, unselfish, charity is very difficult for anyone to achieve, but is the most noble thing to strive for.
