HAPPY BIRTHDAY MELISSA!!!!!

Static Electricity!!!!-----////****<<>>>

Tonight the boys discovered static electricity.  They would slide off the couch and touch someone.  Then they discovered if you turn off the light, you can actually see the spark as you touch someone.  Then they discovered when they slid down the couch, they could see the static dance between them and the couch in the dark (screaming as it zapped them).  They even ran their hands over the couch and watched the static send mini lighting bolts from their fingers to the couch.  It was really fun.  We'll see if I can get a picture of that....?

Tooth Fairy!!!

My 9 year old Mark lost a tooth and came in to us and said, "You know I've had this tooth under my pillow for 2 weeks now and I still don't have a dollar." (We had no idea!) Kevin explained that the tooth fairy must be delayed with the holidays.  When Mark finally found a two dollar bill under his pillow the next morning he started questioning Kevin if there really was a tooth fairy.  Kevin assured him that there was, but Mark said, "You know dad... you're going to have to tell me before I get married!"  Chuckle!

Blake after jumping rope 100 times. We are trying to get fit.

Look at those beautiful eyes.  Brown in the middle and green blue on the outside!

Green Eggs and Blue Pancakes! Silly kid!

This is about as "Fear Factor" as I get says Linda!

Stephen said he was sitting in school thinking how cool it would be to put food coloring in all of his breakfast food.  I LOVE MY KIDS!

Stephen came home from an overnighter yesterday with his scout troop.  They camped overnight at the beach.  IT RAINED AND STOPPED THE WHOLE TIME THEY WERE THERE.  EVERYONE WAS DIRTY AND WET, BUT THEY STILL LOVED IT.  Stephen said a new kid came to the camp-out who is thinking about joining his troop.  Stephen played a trick on him and told him he saved Brady Jessop's life by giving him CPR.  Brady looked at him like he was crazy and Stephen winked at him.  Stephen said he wants to see how long before he figures it out.   O.K., so Stephen has a lot to learn about jokes...  either that... or I still don't get boys!  (oh my!)

Oh... one more thing.  Stephen just pulled his first chin hair!   He is 13 years old but growing up at an excellerated pace right now!

Stephen goes back to the doctor December 2nd regarding his ankle to see if the growth plate died.  I sure hope all is ok!

Monday, Paul chose for his "Family Night" activity miniature golf around the house. Everyone loved it!

I defrosted a turkey too soon so we cooked it yesterday (Saturday).

It turned out really good but of course to my dismay, when it was time to eat this feast, Brennen and Paul said they were not feeling well.  I felt their heads and they both had temperatures.  Kevin is on a diet so he could only eat the turkey breast.   So this lovely 22 lb turkey with all the fix'ins was only enjoyed by me, and I can't eat much (or everything), Blake, Stephen and Mark (who barely eats anything).  IT WAS SO DELICIOUS THOUGH!  Especially the gravy!

My two sick boys!

Thank you Julie for always thinking of us!!! You are a very dear friend!

Linda & Chandelyn got pedicures today. I loved it! Thanks Chan! I almost forgot how fun it was to do girly things! What a fun day we had!

Chandelyn always has the cutest toes.  Chan has 5 girls!   I have only had one other pedicure in my life and it was 19 years ago.  This was really very fun.  If you have never done something like this before I definately suggest it.  And make sure you get the flowers!
